Past International Director (2009-2011), Past District 6 Governor (2005-2006), Theo Black is an active member of several Toastmasters clubs. He joined Toastmasters in 1999.
Theo is a 1998 graduate of the Carlson Executive MBA program at the University of Minnesota. He is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and IT Project Manager. Theo is employed by OptumHealth, a part of Optum – a leading health services business.
Theo has a variety of interests which keep him busy when not attending Toastmasters meetings. He plays keyboards in a classic rock band, is an avid duplicate bridge player, and enjoys flying disc sports. Theo is a past Director of the Minnesota Frisbee Association. Theo has traveled to 48 of the 50 United States, 5 of the Canadian provinces, and has spent time in Europe, Canada, and Mexico, and the Middle East.
